"Bad man nuh talk him just do"

Dear Readers,

Do not worry, this blog has not been hijacked by a patois speaking Jamaican lady. ^_^.

I remember being told this saying during my teenage years. I always thought to myself, why would anyone want to tell me this? I am not a bad man. LOL.

As I grew older, I discovered that the translated version of this saying is "Actions speak louder than words". In other words, if you think you are "bad" (bad being good) then go ahead and do it...

The Takers - Toxic friendships

Hello Readers,

I hope that you are well and succeeding in your TOTT goals.

Following my previous post about the lessons that I have learned during Michaelmas 2012, I would like to use this post to go into more detail about lesson two; Be upfront (to the correct people) about your goals and lesson 4; Be observant of behaviour. I do hope that you are able to gain something valuable from this post. I will be using fictitious scenarios.

Michaelmas 2012 is over – Lessons learned

Hello readers,

Yes it is true! Michaelmas 2012 is over.
This TOTTy is well and truly exhausted!

I must apologise for not blogging during the Michaelmas term but not even I (a Londoner who is used to a life in the fast lane) could have predicted that I would have no time to blog. Or perhaps I didn't use my time effectively.
The eight short and intense weeks of Michaelmas 2012 have flown by and to be perfectly honest with you, I am not sure where to. ^_^.

14 things I have learned during 'Freshers Week'

Hello Readers,

Following a demanding and unbelievable 'Freshers Week', here is a list of fourteen things I learned about my university and will try to remember during my time here...

Blog update - Apologies

Hello readers,

I apologise for being away from this blog for almost two months.

I have had a thrilling university adventure so far and look forward to exploring the beautiful city that I am in and living my university life to the fullest.

It is hard to believe that I am at an Oxbridge university as an undergraduate student.

Tott? What does it mean?

Hello Readers,

I have had my first request from a reader to define what TOTT is.

Tott stands for Top Of The Tree.

In essence, being at the top of the tree is a mindset and not necessarily literal (unless that is your thing LOL).

Being at the top of the tree is a much nicer thought than being at the apex of a triangle or pyramid because trees are unique, natural and come in different shapes and sizes.
